 Why a User Should Make a Video | | It is the best way to make more contacts and raise your profile popularity. If you want to find an interesting chatmate just make a video devoted to any topic you are keen on. As profiles containing videos are much more attractive than others people having the same interests will make first contact with you. Only one percent of more than one million registered users have recorded videos on their profiles. Though profiles containing videos are viewed much more often than ordinary ones and are more popular than profiles containing dozens of photos.

| How to record the video | 1. Enter your login and password to sign in person.com. If you are not a person.com member please register.
2. Open 'My messages' window by clicking the number of new messages or 'My messages' link at the top of the page.
3. Open IMS window by clicking 'Start Messanger' button at the right top of the page.
4.Press Record button in the top right corner of My Webcam window. The recording will start in 3 seconds.
5. Press Stop button (in the lower left-side corner of My Webcam window) to stop recording. You'll get a box with your video preview. You can view the video clip you've made.
6. Press Save button if you want to save your clip. If you don't like it press Delete button. (Attention: deleted videos can't be restored).
7. After clicking Save you can put name, description and choose the type (safe/unsafe) of your video.
8. If you want to show your video to your friends press Share button and you'll get the URL for sharing. You'll also get the html code for embedding which can be used for posting your clip on your personal page.

| Can other users view my video? | | Yes, they can, if you give them the link. It's not even necessary to be the registered person.com member to view the clips.

| When will my video be included in the general search? | | Your video will be included in the general search as soon as it is approved by moderators.

| Can I put my video on my own page/site? | | Yes, you can. Go to your video page and copy html code for embedding.

| Can I record other user's broadcasting? | Yes, you can do this providing the user is in public broadcast mode and he/she is not recorded by some other user at the moment. To do the record you should open his/her web cam in IMS. When hovering over it the record button will appear in the upper right-hand corner. Just click it.
