 General guidelines or the reasons to block your Person.com account | Site Administrators have the right to block a user's profile (a user's account) for one of the following reasons:
1. A profile and all related information (a personal blog, photos, comments, forum posts, etc) contains illegal materials (child pornography, racial discrimination, bigotry, anything illegal).
2. An account is used for running the automated scripts/programs for cheating in the games, ratings and statistics, account polling, taking information from other users' personal blogs, etc).
Bots are forbidden!
3. A profile is a "clone" of somebody else's profile. A profile is considered to be a "clone" if its content (photos and other essential information) is copied from the profile of another user, who was registered earlier than the "clone".
By a request of the injured party a moderator identifies the "clone" by comparing the content and dates when it was added in both profiles.
4. A profile is created for a con job. A con job can be performed in many different ways, the most common of which are extortion, enticing and begging for money.
5. ILLEGAL behavior of a user. Including but not limited to: private/public death threats, spamming etc
6. Aggressive advertisements and spam. The user sends spam messages or ads to other users who do not know him/her and did not ask for it.
The website moderators carefully inspect all above-mentioned cases. A profile is blocked only when there is a confirmed evidence of a broken rule(s). Confirmed evidence includes a detailed description of violations and related links.
If an account is blocked and its owner tries to login, he/she will be denied access, and a page with the reasons why the account was blocked will be displayed.
The blocked account's owner can object the moderator's decision and write to the website administration on the "Contact Us" page. When viewing a blocked profile, the website users will see a page with an explanation why the profile was blocked.

| Forums section guidelines | We here at Person.com sincerely want you to be a member of our community. We have the following rules in order to maintain friendly, well articulated, community orientated discourse on our forums. We are strict, but the vast majority of our members have no trouble following these simple rules due to the fact we are very fair.
Please, READ ALL THESE POSTING RULES.
Breaking these rules will result in banning you from the forums.
1) No Illegal Content: We consider to be illegal activity including but not limited to: Kiddie Porn, Warez, Hacking, Cracks, Pirated Software, Viruses, Terror.

2) No Spamming: No spamming or third party commercials are allowed.

3) No Porno pics or links.
Breaking this rule: ban from forums for 2 days or more.
4) No abusive language directed towards other users. No aggressive behavior towards other users either.

5) No racist or bigoted statements are allowed. Here at Person.com, we are accepting people no matter what their race, sexual orientation, religion, etc is.

6) No insults against other users in the forums. If you want to express your attitude to someone do it directly via PMS.

7) No foreign language or bad English. It`s confusing other users. We don't require perfection, but we do expect it to be pretty good.

8) No off-topic posts. Forum moderators will delete such posts without any notice. Repeating posting off-topic messages will result in banning you from forums.

9) No Flame Wars: There`s a "Flame - Less Limits" section for that so flame there.

10) Disrespect to moderators will not be tolerated. And please DO NOT argue with the moderators on forums or in private and DO NOT discuss moderator actions. Arguing with a moderator or discussing their actions will lead you to warning/temporary banning. If they make a decision you do not like, you can complain on moderator via bug report in Error and problem report section.

11) All the rules apply to the signature too.
12) No posting in wrong topic section. If you have a question concerning people relations don't post it in the Politics Forum. If you are new to the site, check our newbies section first or try to contribute to an existing topic.

13) No duplicate topics. If there`s a same topic on the same page or couple pages away covering the same issues, the new one will be deleted. Look through other topics in the section before posting yours.

14) No cross-posting in the same topic section. Do not post the same topic/post in the more than one section/topic. Otherwise it is considered a spam.

15) Signature rules:
- Maximum size of the signature should be under 544 pixels in width and under 100 pixels in height
- Advertising in signature is forbidden, however you can have maximum of 2 links to something personal but no banners please
- Animated images are forbidden
16) No flood (solicitation of the forum with the seemingly meaningless/useless, repetitive messages)
Breaking this rule: warning and if repeated ban from forums for 1 day or more.
Life stories, your daily life reviews, attention seeking threads and etc. are more to be in the the Blog section, not in the Forum. So, please, post it there.
Tips for finding your topics:
- Enter your topic once you make one add it to your favourites in your browser menu. This way it`ll save you much time and you won`t have to go through all the pages.
- If you click on the link and it doesn`t open your topic, it means that it has been deleted. If so, please, DO NOT post it again, it will be deleted anyway.
How`s about freedom of speech? - you would say. This is a private site. Like any private property you enter, you agree to follow the rules or step out.
All we ask is that you act responsible and respectful. Try to add something to this place and get along with everyone.

| Main photo requirements | Main photo should meet the following requirements in order to be included in the search index:
- no porn or erotic content
- must be your personal photo, that means you must be on the photo
- should be of good quality
- can be a cartoon character (the one which you choose in photomanager when there are no photos)
If your main photo doesn't meet any of these requirements your profile will be excluded from the search index.
For repeated violations of these requirements your profile will be banned from the search index.

| "More about myself" and "Who I would like to meet" requirements | "More about myself" and "Who I would like to meet" sections of your profile should meet the following requirements:
- must be written in english
- no contact information such as emails/AIM/ICQ etc
- no advertising of third parties
- content should make sense
If you break any of these rules your profile will be excluded from the search index.
