What are the chat rules? | | The main rule of the chat is not to break general person.com rules. You can see them here. Besides, try to stick to the topic of the room. Remember that the operators of each room can forbid access to it for other users at own discretion. Breaking these rules will result in banning you from the site.

Chat rating |
Rooms are sorted by the rating value in the "find room" window. That total rating value is build on 6 rating values, based on:
- visitors from certain country (who can enter the room);
- number of messages in the room in the near past;
- newness of the room;
- age filter (who can enter the room);
- gender balance of room visitors;
- who controls the room right now.

1. Room name.
2. Room rating.
3. Basic rating parameters (rating is calculated based on them) – from 4 to 12.
4. The less users from the allowed country the higher is the value; it is ignored if country filter is not set to allowed in the "room settings". In this example, there are 7247 users total on the site and 1208 from the allowed country.
5. Group of message weight. Message weight reflects the chat activity in the room: the more messages are said in the room the higher is the value. Regular message weights 1 point, whisper messages weight less, operator's messages weight more. If number of messages is too high, so it is hardly possible to read them, the values decreases instead. The number in the braces is message weight before message quantity filter, so if it is higher that the value before braces you can be sure that the room speaks too much.
6. Message weight, calculated for the last minute.
7. Message weight, calculated for the last 5 minutes.
8. Combined message weight, used for further calculations.
9. This is bonus, given to recently created (new) rooms. Bonus is given for 3600 seconds (1 hour) and constantly decreases from 1 to 0 during the time. The newer is the room the higher is the bonus value. Note that user can create a limited number of rooms per day.
10. The less is the allowed age range, the higher is this value. Allowed age is set in the room settings (by default, it is from 18 to 100). In this example, allowed ages are from 18 to 45. Note, that there is no much sense to allow age range less that 3 years (this will not increase your rating as compared with 3 years).
11. This value depends on the ratio of male and female users in the room: as they are close one to each other, the values grows; the maximum value is when number of males and females are equal in the room. It does not depend on the total number of room visitors.
12. This value depends on the number of active users with escalated privileges (creators, operators and sops) currently being in the room. The more – the better, but having 10 operators is not much better than having just 2-3. Creator weights 2 points, others weight less. In this example numbers in braces mean that there is 1 creator in the room, 3 operators and 1 sop, and ops and sops all together give 1.329 points.
13. Rating values summed all together give the room's total rating.
14. Country rating, based on the country's parameter above.
15. Messaging rating, based on the messaging weight above.
16. Newness rating, based on the new room bonus above.
17. Allowed age rating, based on the corresponding parameter above.
18. Gender balance rating, based on the (11).
19. Control rating.

Can I personally decide who can chat in the room and who can't? | | While creating a room you can specify some filtres according to which the chat will let the users get into the chatroom. In particular it is possible to limit the number of the users chatting in the room at a time, allow or forbid the access to the room for users from a certain country, users of the certain age and gender. You can also make a room invisible or even set a password to access it, if you need.

| |
What are system commands and how to use them? | | System commands are special words which we enter as "/command" in the text area. Using them you can perform special actions (e.g, show the emotion/action by the special message, interact with others etc). Only current chatroom occupants can use its system commands. You can find the list of commands bellow.
| |
Will I remain my room creator forever? When the room is deleted? | | The room is deleted if there are no users for more than 24 hours. You can't restore deleted room but you can create a new one with the same name. Apart from that you own the room forever until it's active so that special privileges will be given to you every time you enter it.
| |
Do site admins moderate the chat? What should I do if someone abused me? | | Site administration will do their best to block spam and flood messages. However our main rule is as follows 'if you don't like the way you've been treated in a chat room just close it and find another chat room or create your own room'. But first of all it's creators and operators who are responsible for chatrooms moderation.
| |
I've got a death threat. What should I do? | | We are very much serious about such statements. The user will always get banned from the site if the chat history really contains such messages (sent by him). If it happened to you, report it to our Support System ("Complain about User" section) immediately. Make sure to give us the ID or link to the profile of the user that threatened you, the room where it occured and aproximate time. Support Staff will check up the chatroom history and if it contains the threatening the user will be banned from the site.
