Piano My Life
Piano My Life...
If you will,
I shall ask you to piano my life,
Playing a melody so sentimental,
Echoing ever so softly in my heart,
Echoing every moment, every night , every day…
You just piano my life,
The white keys ….
So peaceful, so ordinary,
The black keys….
So mysterious, so melodious,
Ever so lightly your fingers dance on the keyboards,
Coloring the melody with the essence of life…
White keys and black keys…
So different yet so compatible,
So like you, so like me….
Without white, without black…
This song is incomplete…
Thanks for pianoing my life,
I just knew that in this life,
I couldn’t have asked for more…
All I ask of you is….
Piano my life with the melody of life….
One that may bring me home...to you...
This poem was written out of boredom from reading the test book till I fell asleep....I decided to get away for a while from the book I was reading and write up something. Apparently, that is how this poem comes about....
Later in the night, I bumped into Ann and showed her my poem, she however mentioned that this poem is unlike any of my usual style in poem writing and it reminds her of the movie "The Notebook". I decided to post this poem as a dedication for our friendship, for those who came into my life and have been staying with me still, I appreciate it very much...hope you all may enjoy it.
